Heather C. Johnston is an attorney in the Real Estate Transactional Department of Trainor Fairbrook. Ms. Johnston’s practice focuses on commercial real estate matters related to the acquisition, development, ownership and disposition of real property including purchase and sale transactions, leasing, title matters, easements and CC&Rs and commercial condominium conversions.
As part of her transactional real estate practice, Ms. Johnston has experience related to all facets of commercial real estate specifically in negotiating and documenting complex leasing transactions, preparing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, easement agreements and CC&Rs. Ms. Johnson’s practice also includes the representation of property owners and investors that desire to convert existing retail, industrial or office projects into commercial condominiums, including negotiation with local cities and counties.
Ms. Johnston served as a consultant for the parties, interest and premises chapter of the book, Ground Lease Practice published by the California Continuing Education of the Bar in 2009. She has given presentations on commercial condominium conversions for several real estate industry groups.
