Working Out of the Troubled Lease

Tony Arostegui will serve as a seminar panelist at the 28th annual State Bar of California Real Property Section Retreat. The panel will discuss the basics of commercial lease workouts from both a landlord and tenant perspective, including strategies in negotiating lease terminations, lease modifications and structuring buyouts. The panel will also cover provisions in new leases that can be negotiated to enhance a landlord’s or tenant’s position in a future workout situation.
